STEEL CITY
Originally from the steel city in the Hamilton Ontario area, Tim supported his family while working in the steel industry. After an opportunity to pay out steel workers was offered or the opportunity to stay and work in the newly modernized steel company, Tim and his family chose to take the challenge and head out west in 1993.
A NEW ADVENTURE
Originally the plan was to to work in the Yukon, only to find out that Tim’s wife Debbie had family who lived in Kitimat. What should have been a short visit turned into a new beginning with Tim working three jobs in Kitimat, working snow removal with the district Kitimat builders in the service centre and eventually Alcan, known today as Rio Tinto. Tim also volunteered in the local community with local minor hockey and eventually provincial hockey programs for 13 years.
HARD WORK
At the heart of PF Pizzeria & Bistro lies a story of family, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the Kitimat community. When Tim and Debbie Leduc were presented with the opportunity to take over this beloved establishment, they saw it as more than just a business venture – it was a chance to build a legacy together. With sleeves rolled up and hearts full of ambition, the Leduc family poured their collective energy and passion into every aspect of the restaurant. Together, we’ve created more than just a place to eat; we’ve built a home away from home where every guest is treated like family.
